Merge is the thought-child of artists Holly Lyn Walrath and Leslie Archibald. It's a space to explore the merging of minds and the merging of arts of all kinds. Merge hosts monthly workshops and creative experiences in the heart of Houston, Texas. We are open for studio visits every second Saturday from 9am-5pm. |

Poetry Between the LinesTaking place during National Poetry Month in April, Poetry Between the Lines is an exhibition of large-scale erasure poems. Erasure or blackout poetry is a type of found poetry created by taking an existing text and “erasing” or blacking out words on the page. The remaining words form a poem. Using a variety of books, Walrath’s visual poem-paintings explore the use of line in art, architecture, design, and poetry.
